When did t in the Park move?
We created more than just a festival; we created a family and decades of wonderful memories. However, the last couple of years have had their challenges. Against our will, and despite a prolonged fight, we were forced to move from Balado, Kinross in 2015.
Did TRNSMT replace t in the Park?
That’s that then, no more T in the Park! On the other hand, there’s TRNSMT Festival. The festival arrived in 2017, just at the time T in the Park would cease to run. It’s proved a rather fitting replacement for the renowned Scottish festival, taking place in Glasgow and offering festivalgoers just as many huge names.

Officially TRNSMT doesn’t stand for anything, with the festival’s full name this year ‘cinch presents TRNSMT Festival’. However, that hasn’t stopped festival fans theorising over its name… A Reddit thread suggested that TRNSMT stood for the verb, “transmit”, with the vowels removed.
