From the few posts that I have read so far, the answer is no, he stays weak as hell, whilst everyone else gets stronger in some form and he only gets where he is thanks to Yūma Kuga. I have problems where the main character only gets to a point thanks to others and don’t get stronger themselves in power-wise.
