How many credits do you need to graduate UTM?
Degree Requirements: You must complete a minimum of 20.0 credits, comprised of your program requirements, electives and breadth requirements, as well as a minimum CGPA, to be eligible for graduation.
Can I drop a course after the deadline UTM?
If you miss the deadline to drop a course and have it removed from your transcript, your last opportunity to withdraw from the course at your own discretion is by requesting a late withdrawal (LWD) online for a maximum of 3.0 credits. The course will remain on your transcript, but will have no impact on your CGPA.
What is Lwd UTM?
As a UTM student, you will follow all UTM dates and deadlines, with the exception of the deadline for late withdrawal (LWD) and Credit/No Credit. Meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss on how this may impact your academic progress.

How many 100 level courses can you take UTM?
Students may complete a maximum of 6.0 100-level FCEs towards their degree. Additional 100-level courses taken beyond 6.0 will be designated “extra” and will not count for degree credit. Courses are credited towards a degree chronologically.
What if I fail a course in UTM?
If you failed a course then you can retake it for credit. The failed grade will not be removed or averaged; rather both the failed grade and the new grade are calculated into the GPA and included on your academic transcript.
Can I remove CR NCR?
With the CR/NCR option, course results don’t impact your GPA. And if you find that you’re doing better in it than expected, you may still choose to remove the CR/NCR option providing you do so by the last dat of classes.

How many 200 level courses can you take UOFT?
Students are limited to a term load of six courses in each of the Fall and Winter terms; those who exceed this term load limit will be removed from excess courses. The maximum course load during the Summer session is two courses (2.0 FCEs).
Does UTM accept repeated courses?
Students may repeat a specific passed course only once, regardless of the grade earned.
Do UOFT kick students out?
You have plenty of time to get into the clear. Besides, even if your GPA is below 1.5, you’ll only be put on probation – you won’t get kicked out anytime this year. Do remember though that while having a 1.7 is enough to stay off of academic probation you will need a minimum cumulative gpa of 1.85 to actually graduate.
