Occidental at Xcaret Destination’s beach area is unique, thanks to its privileged position next to the Xcaret eco-park. While the coastline itself is rocky, guests have access to a manmade, multi-level beach area that surrounds a natural lagoon. There are free swinging sun beds and loungers.

Can I drink the water at Hotel Xcaret?
You can get bottle water at any of the bars and around the pools and beach as well, they will bring you waters. However, we didn’t need to drink bottled water at any of the restaurants with our meals. The water they brought us was good.
Does unlimited Xcaret include food?

Do you tip at Xcaret?
There isn’t a tipping policy. It’s just nice to leave them a little something. It is greatly appreciated. We always left a couple of dollars at buffet, restaurants, cleaning people etc…
Does Xcaret have a lazy river?
The lazy river was impressive. There are 3 different rivers. Yellow (50% outside 50% in caves), Green (75% in caves, 25% outside) and the other colour that I forget that is almost all swimming in the caves.
Which river is the best at Xcaret?
The highlight of the park are the three underground rivers (all about 600 m long). You can float through caves and some open areas through crystal clear water. I explored all three rivers and the “Maya River” was my favorite. It was a great balance between caves and open areas.
