What are the tokens for in Betrayal at House on the Hill?
Triangle tokens are called for by the Haunts. The pentagonal Item Pile tokens can be used to track where dropped items can be. (See the rules on dropping items) The other pentagonal tokens are called for by specific Haunts.
Do you still draw omen cards after the haunt?
The player who starts the haunt is the haunt revealer. After the haunt starts, if you discover a tile with an Omen symbol, you still draw and keep an Omen card, but you don’t make a haunt roll.
How do you find the traitor in Betrayal at House on the Hill?
If one of the possible traitors is the haunt revealer, then they are the traitor. If not, it’s the player closest to the haunt revealer’s left. Whichever player is the traitor must take the Traitor’s Tome and leave the room. They need to find the numbered scenario you are playing and read through the instructions.

(This also prevents abuse from the Heroes; if there’s an item you need to hold in order to make a Haunt-related roll, you can’t pass around the item and make a Haunt-related roll with the item in the same turn.)
