What is Nikon F and Z mount?
FTZ means F to Z, or Nikon F (SLR & DSLR) mount to Nikon’s new mirrorless Z mount. The adapter only works properly (autofocuses) with Nikon’s newest lenses, which are those with built-in AF motors (AF-I, AF-S and AF-P). With all other lenses autofocus does not work. AF and AF‑D lenses become manual focus only.

What tools do I need to replace a broken lens mount?
