What is maths Kangaroo?
Math Kangaroo (also known as International Mathematical Kangaroo, or Kangourou sans frontières in French) is an international mathematical competition where over 92 countries are represented. There are twelve levels of participation, ranging from grade 1 to grade 12.
What do you get if you win Math Kangaroo?
All medalists will be presented with merit certificates. Others will receive a participation or appreciation certificate. Only an e-certificate will be given for appreciation and participation. In the second round of competition, the first-round perfect scorer will compete.
Are calculators allowed in Kangaroo?
Calculators are not allowed. You may use basic geometric tools.
Is there any negative marking in Math Kangaroo?
Each question will have five choices. For each incorrect answer, the deduction will be of 1 mark with no negative marking. Children can carry their pens, pencils, and geometry pouches. No calculators will be allowed in the contest.
