What is Taranis QX7?
The Taranis QX7 ACCESS features 24 channels with a faster baud rate and lower latency, thanks to its high-speed module digital interface. Just like the rest of the ACCESS transmitters, the Q X7 provides a secure and reliable link, along with wireless firmware, making it compatible with the newest line of OTA receivers.
Do I need a module for QX7?
And yes you will need to use the external module in order to use your V series receivers. If your QX7 is older and does not support ACCESS you don’t need to use the external module bay. So enabling or disabling internal / external modules is achieved in the model setup page just above where you bind.

Once you have the flight time figured out, we can now setup the timer in the Taranis. Go to the Model Setup page, scroll down to Timer 1. choose TH% as your first option, and enter your flight time there. Now as soon as you move your throttle, the timer will start counting.

What receivers work with Radiomaster?
Radiomaster is most probably the cheapest OpenTX radio worth having! It is small, light, and allows you to use FrSky D16 and D8 ACCST compatible receivers. Bear in mind, it is an entry-level radio transmitter!
What protocol does FrSky use?
If you’re running with a FrSky radio system that isn’t a 2019 or newer model (they usually have 2019, ACCESS, or Express in their names), you will need to use the ACCST protocol. The pre-2019 transmitters have an XJT module, and the 2019 onwards models have an ISRM module.

How do I change the VFAs value in Taranis?

How do I check if my Taranis is working correctly?
You can check if telemetry is working correctly by going to the “Telemetry” page on the Taranis (press menu button once, and keep pressing page button until you get to that page). Now plug in the battery in your quad, and VFAS should display the voltage of your battery. (VFAS basically just means your battery voltage)
What are the parameters of a Taranis alarm switch?
In our example, voltage must be lower than 14V for at least 3.5 seconds to trigger the alarm. The next parameter is Delay (0.2), which is the cool down time for the switch to be switched on again. So in our example, the Taranis will repeat the voltage ever 3.7 seconds if voltage is below 14V.
Do I need telemetry to connect to Taranis?
In order to allow the Taranis know the voltage of the battery on your quad, telemetry is required. For X series receivers such as R-XSR, XSR and X4R-SB, you will first need to setup Smart Port.
