Can you bring food into Safari West?
One of the ways you can experience Safari West is by taking one of their Classic Safari tours. These tours last approximately three hours and involve a jeep tour and a walking tour. You will want to bring water on the tour, but food/snacks are not allowed.

Safari West Wildlife Preserve is home to over eighty species of animals. We have cheetah, giraffe, lemurs, addax, cape buffalo, and zebra to name a few. We do not have elephants, lions, or tigers.

Founded in 1993 by both Peter and Nancy Lang, the story that would one day become Safari West was born in the imagination of one man; Peter Lang. Peter is originally from Los Angeles where he spent his formative years romping around the television sets shows like Daktari and Sea Hunt among others.

Can you walk around the safari park?
It is possible to walk the entire park in one visit. The Safari Park has three main areas. The upper area sits above the rest of the park and features the new Australian exhibits, gardens, Condor Ridge and Tiger Trail.
