Does persist count as regenerate?
Persist has nothing to do with regeneration, and therefore won’t be stopped.
Does Phantasmal Image copy name?
Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied. While Phantasmal Image is not an ‘exact’ copy of the legendary creature, it does have the same name.
Can phantasmal images equip?
Yes for equipment and for when an enchantment is cast targeting Phantasmal Image. However, if you were to have an aura enter the battlefield without beig cast (for example, having Phantasmal Image attack alone with Sovereigns of Lost Alara), it will not target and Phantasmal Image will not be sacrificed.
Can you sacrifice phantasmal image?
Phantasmal Image will be sacrificed even if you counter the spell that targeted it.
Can you regenerate after board wipe?
Regenerating a creature can save it from most board wipes. I can activate its regenerate ability to do so. Korlash will survive the board wipe.
Does Phantasmal Image trigger enter the battlefield?
If the chosen creature is copying something else (for example, if the chosen creature is another Phantasmal Image), then Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield as whatever the chosen creature copied.
Can you make a copy of a legendary creature?
Yes, you can copy a legendary creature. But copies of permanents are also subject to the legend rule. If you copy your opponent’s creature, everything’s fine.
Is phantasmal image an ETB?
Phantasmal Image is not a token in this case. Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied creature will trigger when Phantasmal Image enters the battlefield.

Protection and Sacrifice While protection saves a creature from damage, enchanting, being blocked, or being targeted, protection can’t save a creature from being sacrificed. An opponent chooses a creature to sacrifice, so this isn’t actually a targeted ability.
Can tokens come back with undying?
It has “summoning sickness”. Tokens can gain undying, and the ability will trigger if a token is put into a graveyard. However, like all tokens, it can’t return to the battlefield and will cease to exist as a state-based action before the ability would go on the stack.
Can I block with protection from everything?
As you noted, a creature with protection from something can’t be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, enchanted, or equipped by anything that has that “something” quality. That quality is usually one or more colors.
