- Floss and brush hour teeth.
- Place a small “teardrop” amount of gel in each tooth compartment in the tray.
- Place the tray with the gel in the mouth.
- Keep away from the gums.
- Wear times are noted after step 6.
- After whitening, remove and rinse the trays with cold water.
How do you use zoom teeth whitening gel?
Put a teardrop size of tooth whitening gel into each impression in your trays. Gently place the trays over your teeth. When the prescribed time for your formulation is up, take out your trays and give them a good clean with cold water. Brush your teeth and enjoy a whiter smile.
Can you leave teeth whitening gel overnight?
You may wear your trays overnight if you have no sensitivities but don’t do it the first time. Start with shorter wear-times and build up your wear-time little by little. NOTE – Use 30 minutes at first time. Next time one hour.
Do you rinse after whitening gel?
The whitening process works at different rates for each individual, but most patients report that a noticeable effect after just four treatments. Sufficient gel is given for the initial process to work. Rinse your mouth with lots of lukewarm water to remove any remaining gel when the trays are removed.

It is best NOT to brush your teeth after the whitening. You should brush your teeth at least 6 hours after whitening trays. The whitening procedure has an effect on enamel and may make it more porous, so when you brush right after, you may strip off some enamel.
