Do Marines get leave for holidays?
Holidays may consist of 72 to 96 hours, depending on command digression, of free vacation time without the use of annual leave days. In the military, we earn 2.5 days of vacation per month for a total of 30 days per year. I was able to earn vacation and sick days each pay period.

Can Marines go off base on weekends?
Yes. Marines can do whatever they ant to do as long as they are complying with established rues and regulations. During your first 3 months there is no such thing as leave.
