Can you get into Culzean Castle for free?
The route has a bit of everything – beach, fine woodlands, sea views, attractive lochs and a truly spectacular stately castle. The grounds are free to enter from Maidens but you would need to buy a ticket to visit the castle itself, or a grounds ticket for a more extended visit to the gardens.
Where can I park in Milarrochy Bay?
About one mile after Balmaha and not long past a steep and winding hill, you will see the entrance to Milarrochy Bay. The free car park has toilets. Rather than driving, you could park at the large car park in Balmaha and walk on the West Highland Way alongside Loch Lomond.

Can you park overnight at Balmaha?
An hour of free parking will be permitted but a ticket will need to be displayed. This provision will be closely monitored and penalties will be issued if drivers overstay the hour.

Car parks are situated at Home Farm, the Walled Garden and the Swan Pond. Parking is free for members. Home Farm Gift Shop will be open 10.30am to 4pm. Similar to the systems you’ve probably seen at supermarkets lately, we’ll have one-way queues in place, and guidance provided through floor markings.
