Paper Quilts are Vicki’s latest artistic direction is to take elements of some of her preexisting work, and sew them together in new combinations. The finished design resembles quilted fabric, but is made entirely of paper and thread.

Freezer paper works great with foundation piecing. It is easy, because you can just iron the fabric onto the paper and nothing slides off or moves, and obviously you don’t need a fabric glue pen. It can become costly when you paper piece a lot.

I used regular ol’ computer paper so I could print out the block pattern and didn’t have to deal with tracing lines. I minimized my stitch length to 2.0 and it was super easy to remove the paper.
What is the difference between foundation piecing and paper piecing?

They are also both scrap friendly quilting techniques but foundation piecing is done by machine, and you cannot reuse the paper, English paper piecing is done by hand and you can reuse your templates.
