How do you fit Marbrex?
Where Marbrex® can be fitted
- To the walls and ceiling of any room in the house, office, factory or food preparation area.
- To damp or damaged walls by fitting.
- 38mm x 19mm battens horizontally at 600mm centres with screws into wall plugs and, if required, a breather membrane.
Can you put wet wall on top of damp?
If your tiles are not loose, you can fit a wetwall over them. It is quite a straightforward process. And it does not require any specialist tools or DIY skills. However, you will need to thoroughly clean surfaces first.
How far should ceiling battens be apart?
If you’re fixing battens to your ceiling before installing our panels, we’d recommend that you fit the battens at intervals of between 25cm and 45cm.
Can you trim shower wall panels?
Shower wall panels are super easy to install by anyone who is DIY competent. Simply cut the Showerwall panels to size and fix them to the wall or over existing tiles.
What do you stick wet wall on with?
Fitting bathroom wall panels If you need to cut your panels to size, always use a fine tooth saw and cut on the face side of the wetwall product. Start your project by fitting J edges at the top and bottom of the surface. Use silicone to secure the edges in place.
How thick should wet wall be?
Typically, acrylic wet wall panels are just 4 to 5 mm. thick.
What is cornice moulding made of?
Our exterior cornice/crown mouldings are comprised of an EPS core which is then finished with an exclusive cement coating. The end result is a lightweight and versatile composite moulding that rivals market alternatives in many ways. Versus wood, our mouldings are completely composite.
