The 31-bands on this EQ really let you fine tune how your music sounds, and the +/-15dB is great. My previous EQ had 7-bands and only +/-12dB. That 3dB more makes a difference you can definitely hear. The EQ will push out up to +18dBu before clipping. I got my EQ used so there are a few scratches but to seems to work just fine!
