Where is the original Medieval Times located?
Medieval Times began with two dinner/ entertainment complexes located in Majorca and Benidorm, Spain. The first North American Castle in Kissimmee, Florida opened in December 1983. Medieval Times’ Castles have since entertained more than 72 million guests.

Medieval Times Chapel Creek Ranch
Each horse is bred and raised at the Medieval Times Chapel Creek Ranch. The Chapel Creek Ranch is a 250 acre state-of-the-art equestrian breeding and training facility located in Sanger, Texas. The ranch is home to more than 150 horses.
What do you wear to a Medieval Times dinner?
Feel free to dress up or come casual! Dress in general is casual, so just come comfortable. Kids may enjoy wearing dress up items so they can look like knights and princesses, but even if you don’t have the energy for all of that don’t worry. Everyone will receive a paper crown upon their arrival to the castle.
Can I get a refund from Medieval Times?
I can no longer go – how do I get a refund on my tickets? Our tickets are non-refundable, but you can reschedule them for another day, pending availability. Ticket reschedule fees apply. Please contact us at 888-935-6878 with your preferred reschedule date and our team can assist.
Do they mistreat the horses at Medieval Times?
All of the horses were forced by tight rein to hold their heads in position – it looked very uncomfortable for them. And they were whipped to perform tricks.
Do Medieval Times horses get to go outside?
The horses are pampered every day with showers, grooming and training. We have outdoor paddocks and ranches nearby the castles so the horses can enjoy time outside to play and relax.
Can I wear a costume to Medieval Times?

Guests feast on garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, dessert of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages. Adult guests can enjoy alcoholic refreshments from our full-service bar.

Do you like coming to medieval times?
We used to love coming to Medieval Times.. always such a good time whether your knight wins or loses, but the new story plot has completely changed our minds & we won’t be coming back unless it changes again. A few other disappointing aspects to this visit, as well, so I’ll get to that first.
