Colorado Access is a nonprofit health plan. We have many programs to help you take charge of your health. Colorado Access helps Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) members in Denver County. We also help members outside Denver County if they get primary care from one of our providers.

Where is Denver Health Medicaid accepted?
Health First Colorado, administered by Denver Health Medicaid Choice (DHMC), is for individuals who live in Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, or Adams counties. As a DHMC member, you can get care at the Denver Health downtown campus as well as any of Denver Health’s nine family health centers throughout metro Denver.

Applications are available for download at Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing website. The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing administers the Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus programs as well as a variety of other programs for Colorado’s low-income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities.
