Does OnStar give you navigation?
OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation provides voice-guided driving directions to you in your vehicle over your speakers and uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to route you to your destination. Navigation is included for all OnStar Guidance Plan Members traveling through our service areas.
Will my navigation system work without OnStar?

Start or stop navigation
- On your car’s home screen, open the Google Maps app .
- You may find up to two suggested destinations. Tap on these to navigate to or search for your destination.
- Start or stop navigation: Other routes will be shown as gray lines on the map. Tap the gray lines to change your route selection.
