How do I get CSA certified?
To qualify for the CSA certification, and to use the CSA designation, individuals must meet the following requirements:
- Complete the candidate information profile.
- Complete the disclosure questionnaire.
- Pass the CSA certification examination.
- Pass a background check.
Is CSA a government agency?
CSA Group is an independent, impartial organization that develops standards & codes. We are not a government body and as such, do not have the power to make the requirements of a standard or code mandatory.
What does it mean to be CSA approved?
The CSA mark means a product has been tested by CSA, and meets applicable standards for safety and/or performance in Canada. Additionally, CSA tests and certifies to standards published by ANSI, UL, NSF and other leading standards publishers.
How much does a CSA certification cost?
The fee for applying the CSA Certification Exam is $320 with a $75 application processing fee, bringing the total cost to $395. Individuals that do not pass the exam on the first attempt will have to wait 30 days and pay a retest fee of $115 for all subsequent exam attempts.
Can CSA debt be written off?
In some cases, before Child Maintenance Service (CMS) writes off any child maintenance owed, the receiving parent will be given a final opportunity to help CMS to collect the debt from the paying parent. If this doesn’t work, the debt will be written off. For other cases, the debt will be automatically written off.
How far back can CSA claim arrears?
Is there a CSA arrears time limit? Generally speaking, there is no time limit on when the CMS or CSA can collect your arrears. Usually, they will try to collect it within two years of you falling behind with your payments. However, this isn’t always possible.
Does the US accept CSA?
CSA Group is recognized and accredited in the U.S. by ANSI and by OSHA which lists us as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

Is CSA exam hard?
The ServiceNow CSA exam is tricky and not hard as such. You can make your preparation easier with the help of flashcards and practice tests. Flashcards are meaningful in ServiceNow CSA exams, and practice exams will improve your time management.
What is the passing score for CSA?
70 or higher
Passing the CSA Examination requires candidates to obtain a score of 70 or higher.
Is CSA for Canada only?
Unlike the UL Mark, a CSA-Listed designation holds value all around the world, not only in its country of origin. For a product to receive this prestigious label, it must also pass extensive tests that align with standards from the following certifying bodies: American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
What does CSA approved mean?
The CSA logo, found on many products, indicates that the product, process and service have been tested according to Canadian or U.S. standards and that they comply with the requirements of this standard.
Can I refuse to pay child maintenance?
Under normal circumstances, the Child Maintenance Service (CMS) can take action against a parent that doesn’t pay child maintenance in full or misses a payment. However, the last 12 months have hardly been normal.
