How can I enter in JYP Entertainment?
- Singing. K-pop, pop, etc. ( no restrictions in genre)
- Dancing. Self-choreographed dance, cover dance, hip-hop, b-boy, popping, locking etc. ( No restrictions in genre)
- Rapping. Cover song, self-written song (no restrictions in genre) Technique based on clear diction and sense of rhythm.
Where do JYP trainees live?
Where do JYP trainees live? They live together in the dorm provided by JYP.
Was Jhope a JYP trainee?
Also known as Jung Hoseok, J-Hope had, in the very start, auditioned at JYP Entertainment for a trainee position, but was rejected. He later was accepted by then-Big Hit Entertainment and proved to be JYP Ent’s most precious lost gem!
Can JYP trainees have phones?
Trainees are allowed to use their phone. But they have to give their phones to the staff or trainers when they are having trainings. So specifically, once they enter the practice room, NO phone. The phones will be returned to them once they leave the practice room or once they return to their dorms.

An intern is a person who is still studying, usually in college and has been given an internship in an organization to gain experience. A trainee is paid during the training period.

Jhope and IU were both rejected during their auditions cos jyp had a style which both of them to him did not fit.
