What is the family pact green card?
Family PACT is California’s innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low-income (under 200% federal poverty level) residents. Family PACT serves 1.1 million income-eligible Californians of childbearing age through a network of 2,200 public and private providers.
How long does family pact last?
Your Family PACT HAP ID number/card is valid for one-year.
Does the family pact card cover abortion?
Family PACT does not cover: Abortion services. Prenatal care, maternity care.
Is family pact only in California?
You must be a resident of California at the time you apply for Family PACT.

The Family PACT Program is administered by the California Department of Public Health, Office of Family Planning (OFP). Initially funded only by the State, California received a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services 1115 Waiver in 1999.

Does family PACT cover pregnancy tests?
All Family PACT services are available free, at no-cost, while enrolled in the program. All services are also confidential. Family Pact Also Includes: Pregnancy testing and counseling.
Is family PACT part of Medi-Cal?
Family PACT does not cover: Coverage for these services may be available through Medi-Cal. You may be able to receive breast health services through Every Woman Counts. Health care needs not related to family planning. You may be eligible for other health coverage through Covered California.

Pharmacy and clinic providers must dispense the full amount of the requested medication covered under the Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment (Family PACT) Program immediately if the need to dispense is related to the client’s displacement or subjection to fires and extreme fire weather conditions or public safety power shutoff.
