Does USC offer housing for graduate students?
Approximately 1,500 graduate housing spaces accommodate your need for more privacy while providing a great way for you to get involved with campus life. University housing puts you closer to libraries and laboratories, as well as USC social and cultural activities.
Where do USC grad students live?
University housing for graduate students is limited, and spaces fill quickly. Most graduate students prefer to live in privately owned apartments nearby. If you will be living in privately owned housing, you will need to pay the first month’s rent plus a security deposit (usually, an additional month’s rent).

Where do upperclassmen live at USC?
Although most housing directly on campus is reserved for our incoming freshman class, we offer 35 housing facilities for upperclassmen and graduate students in the adjacent North University Park neighborhood. Suites can accommodate up to eight residents, with four double-occupancy rooms and two bathrooms. Apartments—units with one or two double-occupancy bedrooms and a full kitchen—enable students to lead a more independent lifestyle, with more space and privacy.
Where should I live when going to USC?

Where do most sophomores live at USC?
Although the new colleges in the University Village are mostly open to freshmen, there are a handful of sophomores who also live there. Everything besides these are reserved mostly for upperclassmen and a popular choice would be Cardinal Gardens and Webb Tower (sick view of downtown if you’re on the 15th floor!)
