How do I know if I got accepted into UH?
Check Application Status
- Go to ApplyWeb.
- Choose Apply Online > Online Application.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Once you are logged in, you should be able to see your Application details and status on the page that appears.
How long does it take to hear back from UH?
approximately two to three weeks
Admission decisions are made within approximately two to three weeks of our receipt of a completed application and all supporting documents. Admission decisions for the following fall semester occur on a rolling basis beginning in October.
Is UH hard to get into?

If you’ve applied to multiple schools and are unsure of which you want to attend, you probably submitted your application for regular decision, usually by February. In this case, you should expect to see letters come in through mid-March to early April.
How does UC waitlist work?
Applicants are notified, at decision time, that they are being offered the chance to be added to a UC waitlist. If you are offered a spot on the waitlist you have until April 15th to accept the spot. The UC waitlist is NOT ranked by the speed with which you respond, so respond thoughtfully and carefully.

Why do universities take so long to hear back?
Every admissions team is different Some courses receive more applications than others which can mean longer waiting times. How large a university’s admissions team is will also dictate when you hear back. Each university has a different system for sorting through its applications.
What time do UC decisions usually come out?
If you are a fall-term freshman applicant, each campus you applied to during the filing period generally will notify you whether you have been admitted between March 1-31. These notification dates apply only to applicants for the fall term who file during the November 1–30 filing period.

How do I apply for financial aid to UH?
If you’ve completed the FAFSA or TASFA, be sure to check your myUH account and your email frequently. Additional information or verification may be required to complete or accept your financial aid award. Freshmen are strongly encouraged to live on campus. Rooms fill up fast, so apply as soon as you can.
