How do you repair an Orvis rod?
Call 1-800-548-9548 for a repair authorization number, payment procedure, and shippig address. Do not send the entire rod. Cut the rod just above the top of label n the blank and just above the cork grip and send only that section.
Can you fix a broken tip on a fly rod?
Once you have removed as much as you can, all that is left to do is glue the new tip guide in place. Mix up some epoxy and apply a little to rod tip and slide the guide on. You can wipe off excess epoxy with a cloth and white spirit. Old rod guide removed, and most of the old epoxy removed.
Can you Recork a fly rod?
Once you have built up enough filler to fill any cracks and crevices in your fly rod cork, you can use a new piece of fine grit sand paper to lightly remove any awkward excess. This should leave you with a fly rod cork that feels like new.
Is Orvis shutting down?
Our retail store footprint will condense to just our Stockbridge location. This will mean we will be closing all other stores throughout the month of March. After March 13, the Orvis.co.uk website will transition to only fishing products (Product categories outside of fishing will only be available at Orvis.com).

Luckily, modern technology can make the process easier, and Orvis has just introduced a new online rod repair system that makes it seamless and quick for customers to return their rods for repair and track their progress.
How do you ship Orvis fishing rods?
The online repair center also includes detailed instructions for packaging a rod for shipping, and you can even print a shipping label if you want. Then all you have to do is drop off the rod at a FedeX shipping center or bring it to a local Orvis company-owned store.
Do my fly rods need to be repaired?
