I had this done early so the new owner would not have deal with taking it in to get this done right after purchasing it.
Is the 2001 Dakar a good bike?
The Dakar is cosmetically and mechanically excellent, with only one tiny mark on the bodywork, left of the headlight and one on the same side, but positioned at the saddle line, and practically unseen. Both are about the size of 1/2 a TicTac or less. Otherwise, I cannot imagine a nicer 2001 Dakar that has actually been ridden.
